Have questions about tutoring? Check these out!
How long do tutoring sessions last?
Most sessions last about 45 minutes, plus or minus 15 minutes.
How do I prepare for a tutoring session?
I ask that you send a copy of any current notes/topics/assessments, so we are able to cover more material in your session. I do like to have practice problems and additional resources prepared too.
Which chemistry classes do you offer for tutoring services?
I currently (July 2023) offer tutoring for Physical science (8th/9th grade) through General Chemistry I & II (undergraduate level).
What if I'm not sure if tutoring is for me?
Once you sign up for a slot, you do not have to commit past the initial meeting. Don't feel like we're a good fit? No worries!

Who is Corinne?
In high school, I was the student constantly throwing ice chips and lighting lab books on fire. Despite this, my chemistry teacher believed in me and encouraged me to major in chemistry. I fell in love with research and went on to earn a graduate degree in chemistry too before switching gears to teach.

Unfortunately, the lack of reliable childcare during the pandemic led me to step away from my high school classroom. I love being home with my toddlers, but I miss teaching and want to introduce others to the exciting world of chemistry!

Chem with Corinne was born as a way for me to help students, parents, and other teachers. I offer online tutoring, lesson modules, chemistry lesson plans, 1 minute tutorials, and toddler science activities. I'm hoping to include new products soon and am always open to suggestions!
